Back to getting back to work.

Been focused on quite a few things besides art lately, I finally missed it enough to jump back into the art community. My father got better rather quickly and went back to work, after things settled down a bit I went back to playing the role of housewife. *shutter*

Not exactly what I pictured to be doing at this age, I really thought I would be doing work for a famous magazine on political warfare or releasing a photographic novel about abrupt teen, female chauvinists in present times. But when life gives you repetition, your decisions tend to lean towards normalcy for the sake of peace.

On a side note I've come up with some crazy-good ideas for evil characters. I've been experimenting with the 1940's-1960's portrayal of evil versus my imagination. They always turn out snarling and wicked,ranging in appearance from an evil Vincent Price goon to a devilish Jack the ripper or even that creepy robot-child from Daft Punk's, Technologic video. (like we actually need more horror? Nobody can make a good horror movie these days!) I noticed after using my fiance as a horror model for sketches that I have a knack for collaborating cooler colors (especially since Winter's been creeping around).

Instinctively, the cooler the color the less i blend, I kinda like it. C= Warmer colors for me just don't appeal anymore, i feel like if i put too many warm colors that I'm just making a piece of art into a gimmick filled advertisement.
